My two younger kids, hubby and I landed back in the USA after nearly five months in Europe and we have already been back for three months! Precious life moves at unharnessed speed. It is my mission to relish and savor it all along the way.
Many things have come into focus since our return it’s hard to know where to start and impossible to fit it all into a single update. Most importantly, we are happy to be home and have been inspired to reassess how we spend our time - working toward simplifying our schedules and focusing on what is most important. While the world is in a tail-spin, my focus is inward. Priorities include health, family, and commitment to leading by example.
While we were in Ireland the idea of staying there for the foreseeable future seemed like a real option however, upon returning to our handmade home on a high hill in the forest of western Massachusetts, it is clear to me now that this is our place. While my work is portable and international, community and immediate family is here. My husband is attached to his big trucks, this place, community and his tree work business. Here we root in, even in light of the insanity in Washington DC.
