Hey Welcome! I’m Crispina ffrench
Artist, Educator, Empowerer, Plant Eater,
Nature Lover, Cookie Baker, Climate Change Activist
I’m glad you are here, Now let’s make shift happen.

Creativity, Deadlines, Inspiration, Yes Please

Crispina’s Scrapbox Challenge garnered an outpouring of connection, it built community and nurtured many as we traveled into some of the most difficult days we can remember.  Now that it is over there is an outcry happening in my inbox for what is next. Everyday I hear from someone looking for that connection, inspiration to get up in the morning and focus on the positive that being creative offers.

It is clear that everyone involved with The Scrapbox Challenge was positively effected - there was no pressure but there were deadlines, a commitment and folllow-up.

Challenge participants shared that the collaborative connection buoyed their spirits as the pandemic took hold.  They commented on how the deadlines involved helped them focus and stay creative.  They felt creativity nurtured, offered a positive focus and supported each other. It was uplifting to witness.

Scrapbox Challenge observers let me know that they were excited to read blog features documenting each participant’s process.  They looked forward to and were motivated by the teaching I did using Facebook Live as a platform.

The wide and varied range of creativity inspired Scrapbox Challenge voters. I heard remarks and even received cards (you know with a stamp in the mail) mentioning the joy found in their critique and the difficulty experienced choosing just one favorite. (thankful for the opportunity to choose more than one)

I learned a ton of cyber savvy and felt that the timing for this project was pretty near perfect. (Who knew!) The ScrapboxChallenge showed me that there is a real need for connection right now more than ever.  My cyber savvy learning taught me that I can offer creative connection right here online, where it is safe and more personal authentic and easy than I could have imagined.

So,

If you are craving creative connection with a posse of like-minded adventurers,

If you are ready to commit to being in your creative flow for even for just one hour a week,

If you are interested in using (or developing) your crafting skills to collaborate and serve someone in need,

A Stitch-A-Long with Crispina might be JUST the thing.

Please join me on May 7th at 11am EST for a LIVE webinar when I will teach you some basic used-clothing recycling and inspire you to delve in deeper.  This is going to be a whole bunch of fun (and learning).  Oh, and it is free.  You do have to register.

Hope to see you there – where we can meet up, get our creative on, and make a difference in the world.

Scroll down and leave a comment if you have any questions. I read every single one ~
