Hey Welcome! I’m Crispina ffrench

Nature Lover, Cookie Baker, Climate Change Activist
I’m glad you are here, Now let’s make shift happen.

A New Human Chapter

I am sitting here thinking, assessing, wondering what the global and then local ramifications of the coronavirus are on my little comfortable life in the woods.  Pondering what the future will bring and thanking the universe that my sweet son is not here to have to contend with how this panic and impending illness would have impacted his fragile life.

Thankful for living and working remotely.

Thankful for my warm house and comfort.

Thankful for my family and the love around me.

Thankful for my creativity and tribe.

Realizing my blessings and feeling very grateful.

AND

Aware of my privilege, my ablity to shut my life off from what many have to traverse in their everyday.

I feel concerned and pro-active and I feel the need to make this platform a place to focus on creative connection and collaboration.

Cold raindrops run ripples down the skylight in my office as thoughts bounce from considering the possible impact around me, the need for physical distance, the stock market, the impending increased loneliness for so many but now with an added dose of anxiety.  I am dreaming up ways that we can stay connected, support each other and reach out to include those most vulnerable without putting ourselves at risk.  Let’s make a circle of hands, of love through this chapter of the unknown.  Let’s be open to connection and sharing as best we can.

Please leave a comment. Share this place with someone who might benefit from joining in and focusing on creative recycling as we collaborate to heal ourselves and our planet.   There has never been a better time to use what you have to bring yourself comfort and meaning.

Thanks for being here.

Now, have you heard about the Scrapbox Challenge 2020?

More on that coming next.
