04.01.20 Journal

I protect you, You protect me

Did you notice the global shitstorm going on out there?

It is super crazy.

Yesterday I went grocery shopping for the first time since March 13.  I was SHOCKED at how lackadaisical some people seemed to be, very few masks and gloves, fewer people out and about certainly, but those who were, seemed unfettered by the pandemic.  The kids working in the checkout line at the supermarket are so vulnerable.  If I was their boss they would all be wearing gloves and masks.  The empty shelves brought back stories overheard in childhood of eastern Europe in the days of the iron curtain and Ireland during WWII. Aisles of empty shelves

It was comforting to get back to my mountain where things are a little further removed.  Living here allows solitude rather than a longing to connect felt when you see people you normally greet with a touch or hug and cannot.

Today’s journal entry is a video I found online that is short and really important.  Please watch and share and then join me Live at 11am EST on my Facebook page where each weekday I teach ways to recycle the clothing you might have laying around. No, experience necessary - ask my anything about it
